    • You are likely aware that Ephedra is no longer used as an ingredient because of the negative reactions some people had to it. We never used it as a weight loss product even when it was completely legal. We lost jobs (and money) over this. We arent unreasonable. We just knew all along that this ingredient was being used in a less-than-ideal manner for weight loss. Ephedra is not dangerous if used correctly, however, due to misuse it is now illegal to use ephedraeven appropriately. Had other companies been responsible this product would still be available to asthmatics and others who could use it appropriately for breathing difficulties.

  5. Exactly what is your formulation philosophy?

  6. What does Empirical Labs make?
    • Empirical Labs began making formulas under it's own label for professional use only. We do not market to mass retail markets, so you may not have heard of us before. We also do contract manufacturing - making custom products for discerning professionals and others. We continue to make our own professional line of products and this helps us maintain a high level of expertise when doing work for others. We aren't just a processing house, we think about each formula we make and we offer comments and suggestions to our contract customers with the intent of making their formulas the best available.

    • Yes, Empirical Labs has been in business since 1989. We are State and FDA inspected, cGMP compliant, Organic certified and members of AHPA (American Herbal Products Association).

  8. Do you have a payment plan for purchases?
    • At this time we do not have a payment plan for purchasing products. A purchase can be made either by credit card, cashier's check or money order. To place an order by credit card, cashier's check or money order, you are welcome to call us at 970-232-3951. Online purchases can be made by credit card.

  9. Can I pay by check or money order instead of by credit card?
    • Yes. Payment can be made by cashier's check or money order. But you will need to contact us to place your order, as the online shopping cart uses a credit card transaction. Please use our convenient Contact Us Form or call us at 970-232-3951.

  10. How long will it take for delivery of my order?
    • Delivery by UPS usually will take about 4-5 business days. Some items in an order may be delivered separately, but should arrive within a few days of one another. If you have questions about your order, you may use our Contact Us page. Please provide your contact information and order number.

  11. Can I have items shipped to a P.O. Box instead of a street address?
    • UPS requires a street address for shipping, and will not deliver to a P.O. Box. It is necessary to provide only a street address as the shipping address.

  12. My order arrived, but not everything. Where is the rest of my order?
    • Depending on the items ordered, some may arrive separately. Some items in one order may be shipped from different warehouses. The rest of an order should arrive within a few days unless advised otherwise due to backorder status. If you have a question about your order, you are welcome to use our Contact Us page to inquire about your order. Please provide your contact information and order number.

  13. How can I add an item to an existing order without extra shipping fee?
    • The shopping cart automatically adds a shipping fee to each order. To add an item to an order without having a shipping fee added, please use Contact Us and provide your order number, contact information, and the item(s) you wish to add to your order. Please Note: Items can be added to an existing order only if the original order has not already shipped.
